Mask of olive oil and egg for dry hair

Separate the yolks from the whites. To make a mask for dry hair, you only need the yolks (not the clear ones). Egg yolks contain fats and proteins that help to hydrate and rejuvenate dry and lifeless hair.

Beat the yolks with the olive oil. Pour the olive oil in the bowl with the yolks and whisk until you obtain a homogeneous and creamy mixture. It should be about 1/2 cup of mixture, enough to cover medium length hair. If your hair is very thick and long, add an extra spoonful of olive oil. If your hair is short, reduce the olive oil to 1 tablespoon.

.

Apply the mixture to damp hair. If your hair is a little wet, it will be easier to distribute the mask from the root to the tips. Use a wide-tooth comb to apply the mask all over the hair and make sure each wick is covered. If you tend to have very dry tips, put more mixture on the tips than on the roots. If at the end you have more mixture than you need, store it in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 1 week.

Leave the mask on for 20 minutes. To maintain order, you can collect all your hair with a loose bow and cover it with a shower cap. Wait patiently while the mask acts on your dry hair.

Wash your hair with cold water. The shampoo will remove excess oil and egg, which will leave your hair shiny and smooth, without accumulations. Make sure you use cold or warm water so the egg does not"cook"in your hair.

Dry your hair as usual. Let it dry with air or use a dryer. Your freshly hydrated hair should now look smoother and healthier.
